MEPIS has been commissioned for the renovation of an existing 1,220 GSF vacant space in the sub-basement of the Bernard Mitchell Hospital to accommodate a small animal imaging facility adjacent to the recently completed cyclotron facility. The cyclotron will allow UCM researchers to manufacture radioactive isotopes, which can be used to diagnose disease, predict outcomes, and assess the effects of drugs.
