MEPIS was commissioned by Chicago Public Schools to renovate the existing MEP Systems. Major scope included the replacement of the boiler plants in the main building steam and addition hot water with a combined condensing hot water plant in the main building to serve both, replacement of domestic booster pump, replacement of horizontal domestic piping distribution, renovation of main building muti-user toilers, replacement of domestic hot water plan, addition of a air cooled chiller; the new chiller electrical service, addition of a dual temp distribution system, refurbishment of main indoor AHU and associated tunnel box coils, replacement of a multizone AHU, replacement of the gym’s AHU and a new BAS system.
