Provident Hospital currently has the need to relocate the existing 2000 SQFT retail pharmacy from the present location at 430 E. 50th Place. The pharmacy will be relocated in its entirety to Rooms 2050 and 2088 in the main building located at 500 E. 51st Street. MEPIS was commissioned to provide the Mechanical, Electrical, and Fire Protection construction designs for the new renovated space. Modifications and upgrades to the existing MEP/FP systems will be made for the area to be renovated.
The MEPIS team used its experience with these systems to ensure the newly designed space will be properly served by the existing equipment and meet the required operational needs. MEPIS reviewed the existing designs and evaluated the existing system capacity for the Mechanical and Electrical systems to accommodate the required loads and ventilation requirements for the new space. Changes to sprinkler head layout to accommodate new wall separations and hardware clearance requirements were designed. The level of detail incorporated into the documents will be adequate to undergo IDPH review and allow execution of the renovation by Building + Grounds personnel.
