The project consists of turning 5,800 SF of in line retail space into a restaurant. The scope of work included Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection design. Mechanical design included HVAC, makeup air systems, exhaust systems for kitchens and toilet rooms, general supply, return & exhaust duct work and registers, natural gas supply systems, temperature control systems, and miscellaneous unit heaters. Electrical design included review of existing electrical service entrance from the local utility company to a point of five feet outside building, tenant space electrical distribution systems, feeders and branch circuiting for equipment, appliances, wiring devices, emergency/standby power supply systems, interior and building-mounted exterior lighting and controls, fire alarm and detection system, raceways for telecommunications, A/v, and security cabling and equipment. Plumbing design included reviewing existing domestic, sanitary, waste, and vent systems, domestic hot water system, grease trap system, and natural gas supply system to accommodate building and kitchen load requirements.
