MEPIS has been commissioned by CCHHS in partnership with SmithGroup to provide Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection (MEP/FP), and low voltage design documents for a 254,000 SF new Provident Hospital Health & Diagnostic Center of Cook County. MEPIS and SmithGroup have decided to divide the design and quality assurance responsibilities. MEPIS’ Mechanical scope of work includes makeup air design, exhaust for kitchen and toilet design, building controls, and a small portion of energy modeling. The electrical scope includes incoming power including MV distribution, Isolation power systems, specialty equipment suites, branch circuits, fire alarm, and low voltage systems/technology.
