MEPIS was commissioned by UrbanWorks to provide MEP support for the lot improvements for the shared space between O’Toole Elementary and Montessori Charter School. The landscaping design provides new outdoor classroom gardens, a new basketball court, and new landscaping with artificial hills.
Electrical design was sought for new site lighting. Several pole fixtures were specified and placed on plan. A new panelboard and lighting control panel was designed in order to serve these new lights. Additional plans for lights and general power for a more expansive garden design were developed but abandoned due to project budget constraints. Plumbing support was provided to bring in a new hose line to the end of the school building for the new classroom gardens.
